A lot of you have asked where you would be able to see Wendell’s #11 racing car after bringing it back into the family. Well, we’ve got some ideas!
The concept for a Wendell Scott Center & Museum was mentioned in a recent survey in regards to repurposing Lou’s Antiques Mall. We are thrilled that the Danville community has Wendell’s legacy in mind and would like to share our own thoughts on a potential location site.
We have been focusing our efforts to house our museum in the Woolworth building. Located on Main St, this is an active part of downtown and would be a great place to display Wendell's legacy. Check out the renderings below to get an idea of our vision for the space.
